I don't think it's a secret that I'm slightly addicted to beautifully designed stationery. All the Fun of the Fair! New Greeting Cards from Fay's Studio ...

I got a first glimpse of today's featured greeting cards on Twitter yesterday, and couldn't resist sharing them with you here. The fresh designs from Fay's Studio are from a brand new range called 'Fun of the Fair'. Designed by Fay's Studio Chief, Fay Martin, the collection consists of 12 everyday occasion cards inspired by traditional fun fair games, rides and treats. I love all the tiny fun fair details peppered throughout the range ... the swirly, stripy canes on the candy floss stall; the sprinkles and cherry on the Knickerbocker Glory; and the croc (complete with sausages) in the Punch & Judy Show. Over the last three years the blog has given me a great opportunity to discover hundreds of new designers, creating thousands of fantastic greeting card designs and gift products. Original, Imaginative Cards & Gifts from Natasha Lawless Design ...

Natasha Lawless Design is a surface print design studio based in Hackney, London. Founder Natasha draws on her Finnish roots to inspire and influence her work; the stationery and homeware gifts featured on today's post show the clean lines of Finnish design, combined with patterns and detailing of ethnic folk art from around the world. My favourite pieces are from the bold 'One Who Waits' collection, with its distinctive owl motif, and the abstract 'Into the Wild' series, with beautiful lines and geometric patterns. Here at Card & Gift Blog HQ there have been a few technical blips recently. Both my wireless router and scanner - two very useful items when it comes to producing the blog - have gone into meltdown. I'm happy to report however, that after many hours of changing settings, rebooting computers, and trips to PC World, the problems have been solved. I've been following the Jane Foster Blog since I began blogging myself about three years ago. It seems a terrible oversight that Jane's work has not featured before, but hopefully this gallery of gift goodies makes up for that. Working from her home studio in Totnes, Devon, Jane combines her love of screen printing with an interest in vintage fabrics; creating her own brand of retro-modern gifts. Jane's screen prints start life as hand-drawn ink illustrations before being transferred to screens for printing on paper and fabric. I love the originality of Jane's designs that makes them such a unique gift idea. Alice Rebecca Potter is a Designer and Illustrator living and working in London, England. I first came across Alice's work when I happened upon the Fine Art Fox Print (shown above) in her online shop. I loved the soft, bright colours and strong graphics in the design, and was thrilled to find her collection contained even more fantastic, illustrated cards, gifts and homewares. As you will see from the products I have chosen for today's post, Alice's designs are strongly influenced by the natural world, and her love of hand-drawn, graphic elements.
